CARE Hospitals celebrated International Nurses Day with week-long events across all units, spotlighting nurses as key drivers of healthcare excellence.
Hyderabad, May 12, 2025: CARE Hospitals, one of India’s leading healthcare providers, marked International Nurses Day with a week-long series of celebrations and community outreach initiatives, honouring the unwavering commitment and vital contributions of its nursing workforce across its network of hospitals.
 
The celebrations were formally inaugurated from the corporate office and addressed simultaneously across all CARE Hospitals. Dr. Vincy Ashok Tribhuvan, Vice President – Nursing Administration, led the ceremonies from the CARE corporate headquarters, extending her message of appreciation and encouragement to all units. Joining the occasion were Mr. Vishal Maheshwari, Group Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Nikhil Mathur, Group Chief of Medical Services; Dr. Amit Singh, Chief Human Resources Officer; Mr. Haresh Trivedi, Regional CEO (West & Central India); Mr. Vinod Raman, Group Chief Technology Officer; along with hospital heads and clinical teams at each facility. Together, they commemorated the occasion, reinforcing the organisation’s patient-first approach and deep respect for its nursing professionals.
 
This year’s global theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care,” resonated deeply across CARE Hospitals as each facility engaged in diverse activities to honour and uplift its nursing teams. The celebrations included motivational sessions, cultural events, skill enhancement workshops, recognition ceremonies, and wellness initiatives, all aimed at celebrating the spirit, resilience, and dedication of nurses.
 
Mr. Vishal Maheshwari, Group Chief Financial Officer, acknowledged the critical role nurses play in delivering healthcare. They emphasized the need for nurses to empower themselves and how CARE Hospitals supports the growth and development of its nursing teams.
 
As a part of its commitment to community care, CARE Hospitals also organized a Free Health Screening Camp for children at local orphanages. The initiative offered paediatric health check-ups, nutrition assessments, and consultations, bringing smiles and care to children in need.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nikhil Mathur, Group Chief of Medical Services, CARE Hospitals, said, “Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. Dr. Amit Singh, Chief Human Resources Officer, highlighted the increasing demand and need for nurses across the globe and encouraged them to take up leadership roles in hospitals and healthcare settings, emphasizing that nurses are deeply familiar with the all the processes inside hospitals.

Today’s nurses do more than care for patients; they help improve hospital quality, lead teams, and drive better outcomes. Each unit of CARE Hospitals observed the occasion with unique programs tailored to their teams, fostering a spirit of unity, gratitude, and continuous learning.
