In Chhattisgarh, to mitigate the spike of corona infection, intensive Covid screening of all passengers will now be mandatorily done at airports.

In Chhattisgarh, to mitigate the spike of corona infection, intensive Covid screening of all passengers will now be mandatorily done at airports.

The General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh Government has issued revised instructions to conduct proper Covid screening of all passengers coming from outside at Raipur and Jagdalpur airports.

 

According to the guidelines, a health check-up of all passengers will be done at the airport. The passengers who have any symptoms of corona infection will be kept in an isolation center established by the administration.

It is mandatory for All Passengers coming from abroad will have to stay in paid quarantine centers prescribed by Raipur Municipal Corporation for fourteen days.

 
Meanwhile, the number of corona infected patients in the state has crossed two lakh twenty-seven thousand. Currently, more than twenty thousand patients are being treated in various hospitals.

So far, more than two thousand seven hundred and fifty people have died due to corona infection in the state.
