City X-Ray & Scan Clinic Unveils VITROS 5600 System, Strengthening Patient-Centric Diagnostic Care

▴ City X-Ray & Scan Clinic Unveils VITROS 5600 System
The upgrade ensures more reliable test results, fewer errors, and quicker turnaround times.

New Delhi, 1st December 2025:

In a move aimed at delivering more reliable and faster diagnostic reports, City X-Ray Scan & Clinic, known for its patient-first approach, has introduced the VITROS 5600 Integrated System. This next-generation technology brings clinical chemistry and immunoassay testing onto one seamless, fully automated platform, strengthening both accuracy and efficiency in everyday diagnostics.

One of the biggest advantages of the system is its ability to process all tests from a single sample tube, dramatically reducing manual handling and lowering the risk of pre-analytical errors. This ensures that every step from sample loading to final reporting is more controlled, consistent, and dependable.

At the heart of the upgrade is the system’s Dry Slide Technology, which eliminates water dependency and offers stable calibration, meaning fewer interferences and more uniform results across patient samples. Complementing this is the MicroWell® chemiluminescence method, which enhances sensitivity for hormone and immunoassay tests, leading to more accurate readings with fewer repeat assays. Together, these features help ensure that clinicians receive high-quality, trustworthy data for decision-making.

Once accuracy is firmly established, the system brings the equally important benefit of speed. With the capability to run up to 900 tests per hour and access to 160+ assays, the VITROS 5600 covers more than 90 percent of routine laboratory needs. Its ability to process chemistry and immunoassay tests in parallel shortens turnaround time significantly, enabling patients to receive their results sooner, an advantage that becomes critical in urgent or high-dependency cases.

Speaking about the significance of the installation, Dr. Sunita, Director & Head of Laboratory Services, at City X-ray Scan & Clinic said, “Our priority has always been to provide results that clinicians can trust. The VITROS 5600 gives us stronger accuracy, fewer interferences, and greater consistency across tests. Faster results are an added advantage that our patients will appreciate.”

Supporting this view, Dr. Aakaar Kapoor, CEO, & Lead Medical Advisor added, “This technology strengthens both the quality and efficiency of our diagnostics, helping us serve patients better.”

With this upgrade, City X-Ray Scan & Clinic continues its commitment to delivering dependable, patient-focused diagnostics powered by advanced, innovative technology.
