Coronavirus Cases in India Statewise

Rapidly increasing cases of corona in states like Maharashtra, Kerala, and Delhi remain a matter of concern for health experts and doctors. Let us check in detail about coronavirus spread in different states of India.

There has been a steady jump in the cases of coronavirus in India over the last 5 days, but there has been a significant decline in the new cases of corona registered in the last 24 hours. The reduction in new cases of coronavirus infection in the country is relief news. However, cases of coronavirus are increasing continuously in Kerala and the national capital Delhi including the country's financial capital Mumbai. 

Even though the recovery rate of corona infection in the country is more than 98 percent, after coming under the grip of corona infection, people are facing all kinds of serious problems. According to the latest data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, 9,923 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country and 17 people have also died during this period.

Coronavirus Cases in India Statewise

The situation in these states is critical. Cases of coronavirus infection are increasing rapidly in the country in Maharashtra, Kerala, and Delhi. The daily coronavirus cases coming out from these states constitute about 60 to 70 percent of the total new cases in the country. In the capital Delhi, there was a significant decline in new cases of corona infection a few days ago, but from the first week of June, new cases have started increasing again. In the case of corona infection, the situation in some major states of the country is as follows.

Corona Infection in Maharashtra 

For the last 5 days in Maharashtra, more than 4 thousand new cases of the corona were being reported daily. But according to the data of the Maharashtra government released on Tuesday, the cases of corona in Maharashtra have decreased by more than 40 percent in the last 24 hours. According to the data, 2,354 new cases of corona have been registered in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. In Mumbai too, the cases of corona have decreased significantly. During the last 24 hours, 1,310 new cases of corona have been reported in Mumbai city. More than 40 percent reduction in new cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra is a good sign.

Coronavirus Updates in Kerala

According to the information released by the Health Department of the government, 3,376 new cases of corona have been reported in the state of Kerala on the last day. Kerala ranks second in the number of new cases of coronavirus in the country. The cases of coronavirus are increasing continuously in Kerala, due to which the government is very worried.

Corona Cases in Delhi 

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Delhi Government, the situation of coronavirus infection in the capital Delhi is under control. According to the data released by the government, the cases of corona have decreased in the capital Delhi on the last day, during which 1,060 new cases of corona have been registered. On the previous day, the death of 6 patients due to corona infection has also registered in the capital.

It may be noted that amid the fluctuating corona cases in the country, the threat of a fourth wave of corona remains constant. A vaccination campaign against coronavirus infection is being carried out rapidly in the country. According to the latest data released by the government, so far more than 196 crore vaccine doses have been given to the people in the country under the National Vaccination Program.
