Reports state that Mumbai’s active caseload has almost halved to 6,800 from over 12,900 cases in the last two days.

BMC recorded 795 new cases of Covid-19 and 12 deaths on Wednesday. With the consistent decline in new cases, civic officials are planning to take a review in the month of January on the necessity to continue with the jumbo facility centres for the patients.

The first Jumbo Centre in the city at Worli has already been shut. Currently, jumbo facilities at Dahisar, Bandra Kurla Complex, and Mulund are operational.
