Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singhdeo has said that the COVID-19 situation in the state is under control. From October, the number of new cases has gradually declined.

COVID cases in the state have decreased by 50 percent.
 

About 23 thousand Covid screening tests are being done daily in the state. Till date, more than 23 lakh tests have been conducted.

 
The state government has decided to establish four new virology labs in the state.

These labs, with the facility of RT-PCR test, will be established in Mahasamund, Kanker, Korba, and Korea districts of the state.
