Madhya Pradesh continues to report more recoveries than COVID positive cases
Madhya Pradesh continues to report more recoveries than the COVID positive cases. The state is registering a decline in active cases. So far, more than 2,27000 patients have recovered from COVID infection in the state.

Around 27,000 tests were carried out yesterday, out of which 866 positive cases were reported. AIR correspondent reports that according to Health Bulletin of State Department, one thousand 61 patients recovered yesterday. The number of new cases remained below 10 in 35 districts of the state. No new case has been reported in Ashok Nagar district.

Uttarakhand records 449 fresh COVID-19 infections
Uttarakhand recorded 449 fresh COVID-19 infections and recovery of 734 patients yesterday. According to the Health Bulletin released late last evening, the recovery rate of the state reached 91.56 per cent.

Meanwhile, Major tourist destinations of the hill state have put up festive lights on the occasion of year-end.

The District Administration has issued an order to maintain social dispensing and other protocols in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Telangana reports 415 fresh cases of COVID-19

Telangana reported 415 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to two lakh 86 thousand 354. The state conducted over 43 thousand tests yesterday.

The recovery rate was reported at 97.37 per cent with 316 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to two lakh 78 thousand 839.

Meanwhile, the Daily Bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department reported total 1,541 deaths so far, with three more persons succumbing to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 91 COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours.
