The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed one crore 77 lakh yesterday. The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on 16th of January and vaccination of the frontline workers started from 2nd of February.

The next phase of COVID-19 vaccination has commenced from 1st of March for those who are over 60 years of age and for people aged 45 and above with specific comorbid conditions.

A total of 1 crore 77 lakh 11 thousand 287 vaccine doses have been given, as per the provisional report till 7 p.m. yesterday.

In all, 10 lakh 93 thousand 954 vaccine doses were given yesterday.
