CRITICON Raipur 2025 Concludes with Global Insights and Breakthroughs in Critical Care

1000+ delegates and 45+ faculty from India and abroad attend two-day conference. 45+ scientific sessions and expert panel discussions across two days.
Raipur, October 26, 2025: The two-day CRITICON Raipur 2025, organised by Ramkrishna CARE Hospital in collaboration with the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) – Raipur Chapter, concluded successfully today, reinforcing Raipur’s growing reputation as a center of excellence in critical care education and innovation.
With more than 1000 delegates from all over India and more than 45 faculty members from India and abroad, the conference brought together leading intensivists, anesthesiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals for in-depth discussions on emerging trends and evidence-based practices in critical care.
The second day featured high-impact scientific sessions and expert panels led by eminent national and international faculty, including Dr. Marcus Schultz (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Dr. Quirino Piacevoli (Rome, Italy). Discussions covered critical topics such as sepsis management, cytokine storm, cardiac dysfunction in ICU, pneumonia in immunocompromised patients, and mechanical ventilation strategies. Experts also addressed neuro-monitoring in acute brain injury, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), antimicrobial resistance, hyperglycemic emergencies, toxindromes, ECMO advancements, and heart and liver failure management in ICU. The day concluded with updates on fluid therapy precision, contrast-induced nephropathy, arrhythmias in ICU, and brain death protocols.
The event was supported by a strong organising team comprising Dr. Siddharth Tamaskar (Senior Consultant – General Surgery), Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh (HOD – Emergency Medicine), and Dr. Shameek Dave (Consultant – General Surgery). Senior consultants Dr. Abbas Naqvi and all consultants of Ramkrishna CARE Hospital,Raipur also played key roles in the conference’s success.

The conference concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Vishal Kumar, celebrating two days of global learning, collaboration, and advancement in critical care, furthering Ramkrishna CARE Hospital’s mission to deliver world-class healthcare in Central India.
Also as part of this mega conference, a time-bound rapid emergency response system called "The Power of 3" was inaugurated and dedicated to the people of Raipur by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Hon’ble Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh as Guests of Honour. The event was also attended by Mr. Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director, Quality CARE India Limited (QCIL); Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO, CARE Hospitals; and Dr. Sandeep Dave, Managing Director, Ramkrishna CARE Hospitals,Dr.Abbas Naqvi, Senior Consultant - Internal Medicine, Dr. Vishal Kumar, HOD, Critical Care, Ramkrishna CARE Hospital along with senior medical leaders, consultants, and dignitaries from across India.
