Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, one of India’s largest and most trusted eye care chains, has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art eye hospital in Padur, Kelambakkam in Chennai.

Chennai, August 14, 2026: Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, one of India’s largest and most trusted eye care chains, has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art eye hospital in Padur, Kelambakkam in Chennai, marking a significant milestone in strengthening access to advanced eye care in in the city. This is the 88th hospital of the group in Tamil Nadu.

 

The facility is designed to deliver comprehensive eye care services in a patient-centric environment. It is equipped with Advanced Modular Operation Theatres, cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, a fully integrated optical and pharmacy section, in a thoughtfully designed calm and serene ambience to enhance patient comfort. A key highlight of the hospital is its “Viewing Gallery”, which enables patients and caregivers to experience confidence in every step of the treatment process. The clinical team will be led by Dr Kaladevi Satish, Zonal Head – Clinical Services supported by experienced specialists across cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, refractive, and oculoplastic services.

The facility was inaugurated by Dr Athiya Agarwal, Director, Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital in the presence of senior leadership from hospital management, including Dr Kaladevi Sathish, Zonal Head – Clinical Services, and Mr Nandha Kumar, Senior Vice President – Operations.
