Hyderabad, 4th February, 2026: A cancer diagnosis can change life in an instant—bringing fear, uncertainty and countless unanswered questions. On the occasion of World Cancer Day, CARE Hospitals, Malakpet organised a Cancer Care Awareness Talk, reaffirming its belief that no patient should face the cancer journey alone.

 

The programme was graced by Shri. Brahma Murahari, Chadarghat SHO and Shri Srinivas, Chadarghat - DI as chief guests and saw participation from Dr. M. A. With India witnessing a steady rise in cancer cases and nearly 70% of patients being diagnosed at advanced stages, the programme highlighted the importance of early detection, timely treatment and continuous support—from diagnosis to recovery and follow-up.

 

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, CARE Hospitals, Malakpet also announced FREE Oncology consultations for the public until 14th February, 2026, reinforcing its commitment to early detection and timely access to expert cancer care. The initiative aims to encourage people experiencing symptoms or those at risk to seek medical advice without delay.

 

The key awareness session was delivered by Dr. M. A. Suboor Shaherose, who spoke about the rising incidence of blood cancers and other malignancies across age groups, urging people not to ignore early warning signs. “While early detection is vital, cancer care goes far beyond diagnosis.
