TERN Group x TNAI: A fully-sponsored initiative to train and place Indian nurses in Germany — at no cost to the candidates, powered by ethical global mobility.

National, 3rd June, 2025: In a landmark initiative to boost global career opportunities for Indian nurses, TERN Group, an AI-powered global talent mobility platform, has joined hands with The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI) to launch a full-time, second residential German language training batch at the TNAI campus in Greater Noida.

This program is designed to equip Indian nurses with the language skills and cultural readiness required for a successful healthcare career in Germany. Offered completely free of cost, the initiative covers training, accommodation, food, and visa preparation, removing all traditional barriers to global migration.

Avinav Nigam, Founder & CEO, TERN Group, said, “This partnership with TNAI goes beyond training — it’s about creating meaningful, long-term career opportunities for Indian nurses on the global stage. With Germany projected to face a shortage of over 500,000 healthcare workers by 2030, there is a clear and urgent demand. By equipping Indian professionals with the right language skills and cultural preparation, we’re not only helping to bridge this critical gap but also empowering nurses to build rewarding international careers with dignity, transparency, and zero cost.”

Mrs. Annie Kumar, National President, TNAI, said, “Our mission at TNAI has always been to empower nurses and elevate the nursing profession in India. We are proud to be shaping a future where Indian nurses are not just participants, but leaders in global healthcare.”

Ms. Evelyn P. Kannan, Secretary-General, TNAI, said, “This partnership with TERN takes that mission forward on a global scale, offering our nurses ethical, transparent, and fully supported pathways to international careers.”

TERN, an AI-powered global talent mobility platform, ethically connects skilled professionals to overseas job opportunities with end-to-end support and zero fees. TNAI, the largest professional association in India for nurses, is almost 118 years old and the apex national association for Indian nurses, committed to advancing their education, welfare, and professional standards. In collaboration with TNAI, TERN is empowering Indian healthcare professionals to build successful global careers. In the first batch of the partnership, the platform had registered an 82% success rate.

Previously, TERN has partnered with NSDC, Sharda University, Kailash Institute, and The Language Spectrum to offer German language training. Among TERN’s public sector tie-ups are TOMCOM (Govt. of Telangana) to place youth in Japan’s healthcare sector.
