Chennai, 24 July 2025: Magic Bus India Foundation, a leading non-profit organization in education and skilling, in collaboration with FedEx Express (FedEx), the world’s largest express transportation company, has launched the Cyber Safe India Campaign, a nationwide initiative aimed at preventing cybercrimes by equipping youth and communities with the knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. The program is designed to strengthen digital awareness and encourage the use of trusted tools and platforms, particularly among communities from challenging backgrounds.

Rolling out across 13 states and 29 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata. The program will reach over two lakh individuals leveraging Magic Bus’ existing network of over 130 livelihood centers and over 1,000 colleges to maximize impact. Additionally, emphasizing community-level outreach through engaging tools such as street plays, digital safety sessions, awareness camps, and collaborations with local cybercrime officials to foster widespread understanding and adoption of safe digital practices.

“In today’s hyperconnected world, awareness is our strongest defense against cybercrime. The Ministry of Home Affairs reports that over INR 43.86 billion has been safeguarded through 1.3 million citizen-reported fraud cases, showcasing the critical impact of awareness and prompt reporting in combating cybercrime[1]. At FedEx, we are proud to support initiatives that help people stay alert, stay safe, and navigate the digital world with greater confidence,” said Nitin Navneet Tatiwala, vice president of marketing, customer experience, and air network at FedEx, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa.

Jayant Rastogi, Global CEO, Magic Bus India Foundation, added, “As India moves towards a digital-first economy, safe and informed digital participation has become essential. Our collaboration with FedEx enables us to scale cybersecurity awareness, seamlessly integrated into our life skills and employability program. The Cyber Safe India Campaign is a step towards realizing the vision of a truly inclusive Digital India by ensuring that youth and communities are equipped to navigate the digital world safely. It reflects our shared commitment to a future where digital access is matched by digital safety, empowering every household to thrive in an increasingly connected world.

Aligned with India’s national digital safety priorities, the program is being implemented in collaboration with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), under the Ministry of Communications and Electronics, and will also engage with State Cyber Cells to support regional outreach and coordination.

This collaboration between Magic Bus and FedEx marks a significant step toward preparing India’s future workforce to be not just digitally connected, but also digitally aware, secure, and resilient. The campaign serves as a beacon of inclusive innovation by building awareness where it is needed most and helping shape a Cyber Safe India.
