FTCCI and VST organised a Women Empowerment Program for rural women

Around 120 women participated in the event despite it being the first day of the Bathukamma festival and Petaramavasya.

Hyderabad, October 15, 2023....... A two-day Women Empowerment Program was organised by Hyderabad-based VST Industries with the support of The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), the 106-year-old vibrant chamber of commerce body at Alampur in Alampur village in Jogulamba Gadwal District. It was organised under its Corporate Social Responsibility with the support of the Gadwal District Collector and District officials.  The program concluded on Saturday evening.

The program was conducted for two days on various topics to develop women's entrepreneurship skills and grab business opportunities. Women have participated, especially from Alampur, Itikyala, Undavalli, Vaddepalli, Rajoli Manupadu and Aija mandals.  Aasha workers of Jogulamba Gadwal district, participants sponsored by the women and child welfare development department, district medical department and many women enthusiasts participated in the program.

Mrs. Shanti of VST conducted the program. It covered various aspects of entrepreneurship such as Leadership, team management, communication, financial awareness, critical observation skills etc.  It was an interactive and engaging one.  The participants par. participated in various business games to keep the program going for two days with enthusiasm
