In Germany, the federal and state governments have agreed to extend coronavirus lockdown in the country.
The current lockdown regulations, including the closure of schools, will now be in place until at least January 31.
With the extension of lockdown, new rules have been also introduced. Announcing the new rules, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that we must be especially careful now.
Mrs. Merkel said, the new, more infectious variants of the coronavirus made the situation more urgent.
