Gleneagles Hospital Chennai Launches Advanced Integrated Centre for Stroke Management

A one-stop multidisciplinary facility for rapid diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of stroke patients.

Chennai, October 29th, 2025: Gleneagles Hospital Chennai one of the leading healthcare institutions in Chennai, is delighted to announce the launch of its Advanced Integrated Centre for Stroke Management, a first-of-its-kind comprehensive facility designed to provide end-to-end stroke care from emergency response and acute treatment to long-term rehabilitation and prevention.  Dr Nageshwar Rao, Cluster CEO, Gleneagles Hospitals, Hyderabad and Chennai Inaugurated the centre in the presence of Dr Miny Susan Abraham, Consultant, Neurology; Dr Noorul Ameen S, Consultant, Neurology and Dr Ravindran R, Consultant, Interventional Radiology, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai.  

 

The new Integrated centre for stroke brings together neurologists, neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, emergency physicians, physiotherapists, and speech & occupational therapists under one roof to ensure timely, coordinated, and holistic care for patients suffering from stroke. The centre is equipped with 24x7 stroke-ready emergency services, dedicated stroke ICUs, advanced neuroimaging technologies..

 

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Noorul Ameen S, Consultant Neurologist, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, said, “Stroke is a time-sensitive medical emergency — every minute counts. Our Advanced Integrated Centre ensures that patients receive rapid assessment, imaging, and treatment within the critical ‘golden hour,’ thereby improving survival and recovery outcomes.”
