Gujarat records 1477 new cases during the last 24 hours. Reports state that the recovery rate improves and reached up to 91.06 percent.

Gujarat records 1477 new cases during the last 24 hours. Reports state that the recovery rate improves and reached up to 91.06 percent.

The number of total cases of Covid19 detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2 lakh 11 thousand 257. Out of these, 1 lakh 92 thousand 368 patients recovered. 1547 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. 
 
More than 78 lakh 94 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date.  Maximum of 332 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 264 new cases.

 
At present total, active cases in the state are 14885, out of which 81 patients are on ventilator. 15 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 4004.

Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 12 new areas in the micro containment zone following the detection of new cases.
