Gujarat recorded 1607 new cases during the last 24 hours. Reports state that this is the highest number of new cases in a single day in the state till now.

The total number of Covid-19 cases detected so far in the state has reached up to 2 lakh 5 thousand  116.
 

Meanwhile, 1 lakh 86 thousand 446 patients have recovered. 1388 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

More than 76 lakh 20 thousand tests for COVID -19 have been carried out in the state till date.  A maximum of 353 new cases was reported from Ahmedabad.

 
At present, the total numbers of active cases in the state are 14732, out of which 96 patients are on a ventilator. 16 patients died yesterday taking the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 up to 3938.
