Gujarat has recorded 698 new cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.

According to the state health department, the recovery rate has further improved to 94.61 percent.

The total number of COVID-19 cases detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2 lakh 47 thousand 926. Out of these, 2 lakh 34 thousand 558 patients recovered. 898 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. 

More than 98 lakh 58 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date. Maximum of 144 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 124 new cases.

At present total, active cases in the state are 9047, out of which 60 patients are on a ventilator. 3 patients died due to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours.
