Gujarat recorded 969 new Corona cases during the last 24 hours. Total cases in the state detected so far have crossed 1 lakh 72 thousand.

Out of these, 1 lakh 55 thousand 105 patients recovered. 1027 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Recovery rate has reached up to 90.17 percent.

More than 60 lakh 2 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date.

Maximum 218 new cases reported from Surat, while Ahmedabad recorded 181 new cases.

At present total active cases in the state are 13190, out of which 62 patients are on ventilator. 6 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 3714.
