Gujarat recorded 987 new cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has crossed the 90 percent mark. AIR correspondent reports that Gujarat has recorded 1 lakh 71 thousand 40 cases till now.

Out of these, 1 lakh 54 thousand 78 patients recovered. 1083 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.
 
Recovery rate has reached up to 90.08 percent. More than 59 lakh 50 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date.  Maximum 213 new cases reported from Surat, while Ahmedabad recorded 171 new cases.

At present total active cases in the state are 13254, out of which 61 patients are on ventilator. 4 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 3708.
