Gujarat has recorded 804 new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours. According to the state health department, the recovery rate has further improved to 94.12 percent.

The total number of Covid-19 cases detected so far in Gujarat has reached up to 2 lakh 43 thousand 459. Out of these, 2 lakh 29 thousand 143 patients recovered. 999 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

More than 95 lakh 43 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date. Maximum of 170 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 156 new cases.

At a present, the total number of active cases in the state is 10,021, out of which 63 patients are on a ventilator. 7 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid-19 up to 4,295.
