Haryana Health Department is ready to start the process of administering the COVID-19 vaccine from the 16th of January.
Additional Chief Secretary(Health) Rajeev Arora said that the Department has received 2,41,500 doses of the Covishield vaccine as a part of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
He said that the vaccine reached from Pune yesterday and Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula, Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, National Health Mission, Director (Administration) Dr. B.K. Rajora and SEPIO, Dr. Virender Ahlawat received it at the Chandigarh Airport.
Mr. Arora said that the vaccine was soon taken to the State Vaccine Store in Kurukshetra from where it would be distributed to around 113 Immunization Session Sites following all guidelines.
