Hyderabad, December 12, 2025: Himalaya BabyCare, India’s leading baby care brand loved by babies, in collaboration with the Society of Midwives of India (SOMI), conducted a Healthy Baby Contest at the Primary Health Center (PHC), Narapally, Medchal District, Hyderabad. The initiative brought together mothers, babies, healthcare professionals, and community caregivers to raise awareness about overall child growth, maternal well-being, and early developmental care.
The activity witnessed enthusiastic participation from 65+ mothers and their babies, along with 20 antenatal (ANC) mothers, supported by pediatricians and the PHC team, including medical officer Dr. Shobana Bhandari. The atmosphere was vibrant and attentive, reflecting strong community interest in child health and early developmental care. During the contest, pediatricians evaluated each baby based on key health and developmental parameters including motor skills, height, weight, and activity levels.
Himalaya BabyCare has successfully organized 1,500+ Healthy Baby Contests so far and aims to conduct over 2,000 contests across India in the next one year, reinforcing its commitment to promoting child wellness at the grassroots level.
Himalaya BabyCare and SOMI collaboratively announced the winners of the Healthy Baby Contest: Samanveya – First Place, Niyanshika– Second Place, Karthikeya– Third Place. All the winners received an exclusive Himalaya Baby Gift Pack, and all participants were given a goody bag containing a participation certificate, a teddy bear, and a Himalaya BabyCare sample pack.
In addition to assessments organized by SOMI and the PHC healthcare professionals, mothers received guidance on infant nutrition, hygiene, immunization, breastfeeding, and postnatal care. The initiative aimed to reinforce the importance of early and proper care for newborns and babies and encourage families to adopt healthy childcare practices.
