Unveils the 1derwoman Academy and chatbot to empower young girls with learning, mentorship, and direct access to the RCB Women’s team

Hyderabad, January 28, 2026: What if your cricketing role model could guide you, motivate you, and help shape your journey, right from your phone? Himalaya Wellness, India’s No.1 face wash brand, unveils the 1derwoman Academy in line with National Girl Child Day. Building on the momentum of the 1derwoman initiative, which supports young girls in overcoming challenges and inspire to aspire to be #1 in their chosen fields. It is a platform designed to bridge the gap between young girls and the women cricketers they admire and look up to.

The 1derwoman Academy has been designed as a commitment to creating real opportunities. At the heart of the initiative is an interactive, conversation-led experience that brings mentorship closer than ever before. Through the 1derwoman Academy, Himalaya Wellness is inviting aspiring young cricketers from across India to register for a chance to receive one of 100 scholarships, while gaining access to motivational content, cricketing insights, and confidence-building guidance directly from the RCB Women’s team.

Designed as an interactive chatbot, the Academy opens with a welcome message from team RCB to personalised responses and tips from RCB women players.  The experience is crafted to feel personal and achievable, turning inspiration into action and role models into real mentors. Participants who complete the journey receive a certificate, with their final submission serving as a scholarship application, reinforcing Himalaya’s commitment to creating meaningful, long-term impact.

Speaking on the launch, Rajesh Krishnamurthy, Business Director – Consumer Products Division, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya, our approach is anchored in building purposeful initiatives that deliver measurable impact. With the launch of the 1derwoman Academy, we are strengthening this commitment by moving beyond inspiration to action, building a structured pathway that supports learning, confidence, and long-term growth for young girls.”

Highlighting the intent behind the initiative, Ragini Hariharan, Marketing Director – Beauty & Personal Care, Himalaya Wellness, added, “1derwoman was created to ensure young girls don’t just admire role models from afar, but feel supported in their own journeys. The Academy allows us to scale this intent by combining technology with credible voices, making mentorship accessible, relatable and relevant for today’s generation.”

Abhishek Ashat, General Manager – Beauty & Face Care, Himalaya Wellness, said, “The 1derwoman Academy is designed to inspire action, not just awareness. Through guided interactions, resources and scholarships, we aim to support young girls at a formative stage of their lives. It is a meaningful extension of our brand purpose where wellness is not just about products, but about nurturing confidence, capability and long-term impact.”

Taking the initiative beyond the digital space, Himalaya Wellness also brought the 1derwoman initiative to life on-ground through a cricket tournament in collaboration with the Female Cricket Academy. The tournament saw over 200 registrations, with 25 young girls earning the chance to meet team RCB, transforming inspiration into a powerful real-world moment of connection.

At a time when women’s cricket is capturing national imagination, the 1derwoman Academy ensures that young girls don’t just watch history being made, they actually get a chance to be part of it.
