Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) Invites Applications for Ph.D. Admissions in Full-Time and Part-Time Programs

Chennai, October 14, 2024: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) has opened applications for Ph.D. programs, both full-time and part-time across various disciplines for the academic year 2024. The last date of applications is 24th October 2024 and the online entrance examination to assess the eligibility of Ph.D. applicants will be conducted on 30th October 2024.

The university invites passionate researchers and aspiring academics to embark on a transformative journey of discovery and innovation across various disciplines, catering to diverse research interests and career aspirations. In Engineering and Technology, candidates can pursue doctoral studies in fields ranging from Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering to Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Mechatronics. The Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences department offers Ph.D. programs in subjects such as Visual Communication, Psychology, Economics, and various natural and Social Sciences.

For those interested in design and architecture, doctoral programs are available in Architecture, Fashion Design, and Planning. The university also offers Ph.D. programs in Legal Studies, Health Sciences (including Optometry, Physiotherapy, and Pharmaceutical Sciences), and Business Administration. The centers also provide expertise in latest technologies such as Green Hydrogen, Quantum Computing, Underwater Communication, Autonomous Systems and Cyber Defence. Technological advancements using AI in all domains will be the primary focus of the research program offered at HITS. The Centre for Sustainable Technology fosters interdisciplinary research to align with the global climate actions plans and SDG goals. Inviting scholars to join in this endeavor through research contributions in collaboration with international research teams at HITS.
