VJIT's Beacon 2024 HR Conclave offers engineering and MBA students industry insights, career development, and networking opportunities with experts.

Hyderabad, June 14, 2024 — A half-day HR Conclave focusing on Future-Forward Engineering is to be held at VJIT (Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology), near Appa Junction, Chilkur Road, in the city on Saturday. Titled Beacon 2024, the HR Conclave will partner with WOW HR. It will focus on the overall career development of Engineering and MBA students. This is a rare opportunity where the students will directly interact and engage with industry professionals. The Conclave is organised as part of VJIT’s 25th Year Celebration.

 

According to the college, the objectives of the conclave are the transfer of knowledge from industry experts to the students and fostering connections that could lead to internships, mentorship, job placements, and exposing students to real-world HR challenges and innovative solutions.

 

Experts from industries such as Epam Systems, Disney Star, Virtusa, ServiceNow, Hyd Metro, Berkadia Group, Campus Hiring, HR Innovator, Siemens EDA India, Deluxe India, BP, Flutter Entertainment LLC, and Hexaware Technologies are expected to participate.

 

A fireside chat will be held on the Future of Work in Engineering. Two-panel discussions will be held. One panel will focus on Guiding GenZ - Power of Coaching, and the other one will be Empowering Students: Navigating Disruptive Technology.

 

Dr. E. Sai Baba Reddy, Principal of VJIT; Krithivasan S from WOW HR will be guests at the conclave.

 

A total of 200 participants are expected to participate. Mr. Meka Venkata Chalapathy – Sr. Director and Head HR, Virtusa will moderate the Fireside Chat.
