On Monday, Jayanti Ravi, Principal Secretary, Health, declared that 15 places in Gujarat—three in Surat, two in Vadodara, two in Bhavnagar and eight in Ahmedabad—are clustered quarantined  after two fresh COVID-19 positive cases were found in Surat, taking the total count of the Coronavirus cases in the State to 146 in Monday, out of which 86 cases are of local transmission. Only on Monday, the number of cases in India had the highest jump thus far with 704 fresh patients contracted to Coronavirus, reveals the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Total count till Monday stands at 4,281.
