The confirmed number of COVID-19 cases have risen to 38 in Bihar, with four more people testing positive on Tuesday in Siwan and Begusarai (two in each district). Their travel history is being ascertained. The state has reported one COVID-19-related death so far.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (CM Nitish Kumar) has congratulated 12 people who have recovered from this disease. Bihar Health Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar said that three women and one man from his family were found infected after coming in contact with a Covid-19 patient who returned from a trip to West Asia in Siwan. Apart from this, two boys aged 15 and 16 were also infected with Corona virus in Begusarai. However, no new cases of this disease were reported in Bihar on Sunday and Monday.
