Hyderabad’s cyclists Ashirwad Saxena bags two gold and one bronze medal in Khel India Youth Games 2023

Khelo India Youth Games are the annual national level multi-disciplinary grass root games in India held in January or February for two categories, namely under-17 years school students and under-21 college students.

Hyderabad, January 23, 2024… Hyderabad’s bicyclist Ashirwad Saxena bagged a gold medal in Khel India Youth Games 2023 on Tuesday. He is the only bicyclist from Telangana winning a gold medal. So far on the whole in this tournament, he won three medals —two gold and one bronze. He won Gold in individual time trial and scratch race and bronze medal in individual pursuit.

Disclosing this in a press note issued in Hyderabad, it is said Ashirwad is the only Telangana bicyclist who won the gold medal in the tournament which is currently underway in Chennai in Tamil Nadu.  The  games which began on 19th will go on till 31st January, 2024.
