Hyderabad: 19th August 2025:  IBM has opened registrations for its Global Entrance Test (GET), a nationwide examination that enables students to secure admission to postgraduate programs in select universities across India. The last date for registration is 5 September 2025. Applications can be submitted online at https://www.ibmiceq2d.com/

The test is open to candidates aspiring to pursue postgraduate degrees such as MCA, M.Sc, and MBA. These programs are distinguished by their integration with IBM’s Q²D curriculum, developed in collaboration with academic partners to align higher education with the evolving needs of industry.

IBM Q²D is a key initiative aimed at preparing a new generation of professionals who can lead the building of a smarter planet. It does so by embedding cutting-edge information technology and industry domain skills directly into university curricula. Designed to equip students for future leadership roles in technology, the initiative works with universities and educational organisations around the world to bridge the gap between traditional syllabi and real-world industry experience.

Students admitted through this pathway receive multiple academic and professional credentials. These include a master’s degree from a NAAC A+ deemed university, globally recognised IBM digital badges, and additional certificates in specialised skills. They learn directly from industry experts and gain practical exposure through internships that provide experience certificates from the industry. The course also enables them to earn while they learn, combining academic study with hands-on work experience.

During their studies, students work on real-world live projects powered by IBM’s network of training and hiring partners. They participate in innovation labs, subject matter expert lectures, bootcamps, student career development programs, webinars, IBM Q²D Day, and industry-led assignments. On completion, they benefit from hiring and placement support through IBM’s extensive industry network, with opportunities to work with top-tier multinational companies.

The Global Entrance Test provides a merit-based, transparent pathway for admission, evaluating both academic performance and the ability to address real-world challenges. It seeks to offer students from varied backgrounds a level playing field while raising the standard of preparedness for professional life.

By combining rigorous academics with practical exposure, IBM Q²D prepares graduates to take on leadership roles in technology and business. Its industry-recognised digital badges add an additional layer of credibility to the degrees awarded by partner institutions.

Registrations are currently open. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply before 5 September 2025 to be considered for this opportunity.
