India has exponentially scaled up its testing capacity from one in January to more than ten crore 65 lakh Covid test at present.

In a tweet,Health Ministry said, the very high testing has resulted in the continuously falling positivity rate.

Presently the positive rate is 7.54 per cent. The Ministry said, aggressive and targeted testing has proved very effective in early identification, isolation and early hospitalization.

This has also kept the new numbers within manageable limits and the deaths low
