Hyderabad, March 07, 2024…. FTCCI celebrated International Women’s Day on Wednesday night at FTCCI, Red Hills

 

The theme of the celebrations was ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress. It focused on five important issues affecting the welfare of women and children.

 

The FTCCI Women Empowerment Committee organised the celebrations by inviting successful women from various fields and conducting a panel discussion on the theme.

  

Ms Snehaja Jonnalagadda, IFS., Regional Passport Officer, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India will be the guest of honour.

 

Ms Ch. Shailaja Kiron, Managing Director, Margadarshi Chit Funds Private Limited and Ms Praveena Thota, Founder Director of Women Envision Council for Entrepreneurship, Gomaya Pushpam will be Panelists.

 

There are no shortcuts to success. Only hard work will reach the goal, said Sailaja Kiran, MD of Margadarshi Chitfunds. There are no shortcuts to success. The only way is to work hard every moment. You can reach your desired goal only then, said guide MD Shailaja Kiran.

 

She was speaking at the 'Celebrations of International Women's Day 2024' program organized by the Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce (ECTOCCI) at Red Hills, Hyderabad.

Regional passport officer Snehaja Jonnalagadda said that change should start from home. Until yesterday, if a girl child was born, it was considered a burden, but now girls are more important

 

The days have come. There are laws to protect against sexual harassment in the workplace. She said that movies and television also have an impact on society. District Officer of the Women and Child Welfare Department, N. Mothi explained what kind of programs we have for women's empowerment. Praveena Thota, founder director of Women Envision Council for Entrepreneurship, Sakki Nala Savitramma, founder of Sridevi Swagruha Food, Women Empowerment Committee Women Advisor Prof. Vijaya Malta Daru. FTCCI President Meela Jayadev and Senior Vice President Sureshku Mar Singhal participated in the programme.
