ISB DLabs in collaboration with CitiusTech launches ‘I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0’: Accelerating Digital Healthcare Innovation in India

[December 9, 2024]: DLabs at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in partnership with CitiusTech, has recently virtually unveiled the third cohort of its flagship healthcare accelerator programme, ‘I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0’. This initiative aims to strengthen the digital healthcare ecosystem in India by fostering innovation, supporting startups, and empowering healthcare professionals with advanced digital tools.

The launch event was graced by Mr. Manoj Balwani, Executive Vice President at CitiusTech, and Professor. Bhagwan Chowdhry, Faculty Director, I-Venture @ ISB. Both leaders emphasised the vital role of technology and entrepreneurship in addressing the nation’s critical healthcare challenges.

The programme has attracted 173 applications from startups across the country. After a rigorous selection process, 15 high-potential startups have been chosen to participate in the cohort. These ventures span diverse thematic areas, including digital health, women & children, healthcare disease diagnostics, healthcare management & infrastructure, and the geriatric population.

  2. Alfaleus Tech: Simplifying Glaucoma Care.
  3. Remap Intelligence: Advanced Neuro Rehabilitation Solutions.
  4. Piltover Technologies: IDA M-SERIES I – The world's most functional mechanical prosthetic hand.
  5. Cureous Labs: Eturnal – Intelligent Patient Repositioning Systems.
  6. Chrogene Aarogyam: Non-Invasive Point of Care Diagnostics for Sickle Cell Disease.
  7. Vidcare Innovations: Accessible, Convenient & Easy-to-Use Diagnostics for Anyone, Anywhere.
  8. Tap Health: Simplifying early illness detection and hyper-personalized chronic care.
  9. Onward Assist: A cancer analytics platform that assists pathologists in better cancer diagnosis.
  10. SynerSense: Digital Therapeutics (DTx), Digital Human Motion, and Biomechanics Assessment.
  11. Zeuron.ai: MiMo (Mind-Motion) – A Neuro-Computer Health Console.
  12. Redicine Medsol: Redicine – Enhancing Lives with Medication Precision.
  13. Femacare: Innovating to Revolutionize Women's Health.
  14. Kode Blue: Beyond the Siren – India’s First-Ever Advanced Emergency Management System.
  15. Apex Cura: AI-powered SaaS platform for small and mid-sized hospitals.

Through I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0, these startups will benefit from ISB’s extensive network of mentors, investors, and industry leaders. The programme offers unparalleled access to hospital and investor partners, guidance on regulatory compliance, and hands-on mentorship to scale innovative solutions. A special focus will be on training healthcare workers with digital tools, ensuring last-mile healthcare delivery is more efficient and impactful.

Key engagements planned during the programme include a healthcare conclave, a hackathon to solve real-world challenges, investment boot camps, and a demo day to connect startups with potential investors and market opportunities.
