Iswarya Hospital Hosts “EDUWELLNESS” – A Unique Wellness Initiative for School Teachers

▴ Dr Raja Sundaram, CEO, Iswarya Hospital and Ms Niroopa Paulson, Head – Safety & Wellbeing, TCS Chennai & Coimbatore with the teachers from Government & Private schools in Chennai participated in the EDUWELLNESS, a first-of-its-kind a unique wellness initiative organised by Iswarya Hospital Chennai.
Over 200 teachers from Government & Private schools in Chennai attended the session.

Chennai, 08th October 2025: Iswarya Hospital, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider in Chennai, organized EDUWELLNESS, a first-of-its-kind a unique wellness initiative exclusively designed for the government and private school teachers. The program aimed at promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being among teachers who play a vital role in shaping young minds. Ms Niroopa Paulson, Head – Safety & Wellbeing, TCS Chennai & Coimbatore delivered the Chief Guest address at the session.

 

The EDUWELLNESS initiative included a series of interactive health talks, preventive screenings, stress management workshops, yoga sessions, and basic first aid training was given by the doctors and wellness experts. Recognizing the demanding schedules and challenges faced by educators, EDUWELLNESS was curated to help them adopt healthier lifestyles, manage stress effectively, and prioritize self-care.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raja Sundaram, CEO, Iswarya Hospital said, “Teachers are the backbone of our society, and their well-being directly impacts the next generation. Through EDUWELLNESS, we want to express our gratitude to them and provide a holistic platform that focuses on their health and wellness.”

 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of teachers from several schools across the city and a Complimentary Health Check-up for Teachers was also held at the hospital. Iswarya Hospital has also announced plans to make EDUWELLNESS an annual program, reaching more educators in the coming years.
