Jupiter Hospital, Pune, Launches Advanced Wound Care Clinic and Diabetes Screening Package

New facility offers specialized care for chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, and post-trauma recovery

Pune, 1 May,  2025 — Jupiter Hospital has announced the launch of its state-of-the-art Wound Care Clinic, dedicated to providing specialized treatment for both chronic and acute wounds. The facility was inaugurated by Dr. Venkateshwaran N, Director – Wound Care Clinic and Consultant – Plastic Surgery at Jupiter Hospital, Thane.

 

Complementing this initiative, the hospital also introduced a Diabetes Screening Package to support early detection and management of diabetes-related complications.

 

The Wound Care Clinic offers advanced care for conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores, lymphedema-related wounds, non-healing post-traumatic injuries, and burns. Equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic tools like Doppler ultrasound and wound culture tests, the clinic develops personalized treatment plans involving debridement, advanced dressings, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation therapies.

To address the critical link between diabetes and wound complications, the newly introduced Diabetes Screening Package includes Foot Pressure Scans, Foot Sensation Scanning, Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) assessments, Retina Screening, and customized dietary and lifestyle counseling.
