In Karnataka, 958 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

At the same time, 1206 people were cured of the disease and discharged from various hospitals in the State. 

At present, 13,736 covid patients are taking treatment across the State among them 217 are in ICU. 

Nine Coivd patients lost their lives and the total fatalities have increased to 12038. 

Meanwhile, the State government announced a night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am starting from today till 5 am on 2nd January 2021. 

Night curfew has been imposed in the State as per the suggestions given by the technical advisory committee.
