In Nagaland, 55 fresh COVID-19 positive cases have been reported yesterday including recoveries of 180 positive patients.
The total confirmed cases in the state have climbed to 9,151. Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted that 39 cases were detected from Dimapur, Kohima- 13, two from Mon and one in Peren. At present, there are 1,238 active cases in the state while a total of 7,786 people have recovered from the infection. The State’s recovery rate has improved to 85.08 per cent. So far, 36 have died due to COVID, 6 deaths are not COVID related and 2 deaths are under investigation. 83 affected people have migrated.
In Tripura, 137 cases of COVID-19 were detected in the past 24 hours while 112 patients were discharged after recovery during the period. Also, three COVID patients died on Tuesday taking the death toll in the state to 350. Alongside, the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients now stands at 94.97 per cent. With this, the total number of infected people rose to 30,989, out of which, 29,407 patients recovered from the virus infection. As of today, 1,206 patients are undergoing treatment. The State Health Bulletin stated that so far 4,64,006 samples have been tested till Tuesday evening. Out of the total samples tested, 4,33,017 persons have been found negative.
In Manipur, four persons have died due to COVID-19 in the past 48 hours taking the death toll due to the pandemic in the State to 184. On the other hand, 150 people have tested positive for COVID-19 positive in the past twenty four hours in Manipur. The total number of affected people so far in the State has reached 19,241. 117 people were discharged in the past 48 hours in the State and the recovery rate is 80.34 per cent. So far, Manipur has recorded 15,460 recovered cases while the number of active cases is 3,597.
