In Tripura, the number of active cases of Covid-19 has dropped down to 240 in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has also improved to 98.13%. In the past 24 hours, 21 new cases and 30 recoveries were recorded. According to the state health bulletin, so far 32,478 patients infected with the virus have been cured, out of the total 33,119 positive cases.
In Nagaland, 12 new COVID-19 infections were detected on friday, pushing the tally of cases to 11,832. Health and Family Welfare Minister S. Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said, 10 cases were detected in Kohima and two in Mokokchung district. He also said that 5 COVID-19 patients in Kohima recovered during the day increasing the number of recovered persons to 11,076. The state has 554 active patients while 73 have died and 129 patients have migrated to other States.
Meghalaya reported 48 new COVID -9 cases on Friday bringing the active cases to 586, while 148 recoveries were also registered. Directorate of Health Services informed that so far there are a total of 12470 recovered cases in Meghalaya and 133 deaths. The total number of confirmed cases stands at 13189 out of which 12470 are recovered, 133 deaths and 586 active. The fatally rate is at one per cent.
In Manipur, the number of COVID-19 positive cases are being reported less than 100 cases from last few days, improving the situation. In the last 24 hour, 86 person including 6 personnel of the Central Armed Police Forces were confirmed positive. On the other hand, two persons expired during the past 24 hours in the State increasing total fatalities to 334 so far. 121 persons were discharged in the past 24 hours and the recovery rate has improved to 92.12 per cent. So far Manipur has recorded total 25,371 recovered cases while the number of active cases is 1835. The total number of positive case is 27540.
