In Madhya Pradesh, Bird Flu virus has been found in 32 districts so far. District Administration of the affected district is sanitising and disinfecting the affected sites as per the Bird Flu Action Plan-2021 of the Government of India.
AIR correspondent reports that the number of Bird Flu-infected districts has gone up to 32 in Madhya Pradesh so far. Poultry birds were found infected in three districts - Jhabua, Harda and Mandsaur.
Earlier, chicken samples collected from the poultry market were found infected in three districts - Neemuch, Indore and Agar. State Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel has instructed district and forest officials to increase the caution and vigilance.
So far, 3,890 crows and wild birds have been reported dead in the state. In all, 453 samples from various districts have been sent to the Veterinary Research Lab, Bhopal for examination.
