With 5 new cases at Dharavi ,Maharshtra is officially worst affected with 2,687 confirmed cases ,259 recoveries and 178 deaths so far. After the migrant labor incident at Bandra yesterday, which saw thousands thronging the Bandra railway station with a hope to travel back and subsequently police lathi charging them the conditions of the state remains grim with no solution to migrant problem at sight.Meanwhile confirmed cases in India rose to 11,487 with Rajasthan ,Delhi ,and Maharashtra being worst hit.

Thousands of migrant workers in Mumbai, who earn daily wages gathered on Tuesday demanding transport arrangements to go back to their native places, hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced extension of the coronavirus-enforced lockdown till May 3. State Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray blamed the Centre for the protest by the migrant workers and sought a road map to facilitate their journey back to their native places.
