COVID-19 cases in Mizoram reach 1192 & 48 BSF personnel tested positive Mizoram detected 69 new cases of COVID19 yesterday, which is highest number of confirmed infections registered in a single day, in the state. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 1192 in the state. 48 BSF personnel who are being quarantined at an Army run Quarantine Facility are found positive. Meanwhile 6 Indian Army personnel, under quarantine also tested positive.According to the official statement, so far 745 patients have been discharged after recovery while 447 patients are presently undergoing treatment.

25 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Nagaland In Nagaland, 25 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported today taking the total number of affected people to 4,245. Among the new cases, 21 were detected from Kohima, two in Mon and one each in Mokokchung and Kiphire, of which 15 were returnees and 10 traced contacts.In addition, 54 recoveries were also registered today. 3728 people have recovered from the infection so far. With this, the Covid recovery rate has improved to 87.82 percent in the state. There are 496 active cases in Nagaland.

42 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Meghalaya In Meghalaya, 156 COVID 19 affected people recovered today taking the total number of recoveries to 1716 while 42 new cases were also reported bringing the total active cases to 1343.Health Minister AL Hek informed media that out of the new cases 25 were from East Khasi Hills district, one from Ri-Bhoi, three from South West Garo Hills and 13 from West Garo Hills districts.So far Meghalaya has detected a total of 3076 COVID 19 cases. Out of them, 1716 have recovered, 1343 are under treatment and 17 died.

Sikkim: In Sikkim, 19 new COVID-19 cases found today. Active cases in the state reached to 538 and 1403 COVID-19 patients discharged so far after recovery.

Arunachal Pradesh: In Arunachal Pradesh 180 new COVID-19 cases were reported and 124 patients have been discharged. There are 1576 active cases with 69 per cent recovery rate in the state.

Assam: In Assam during the last 24 hours 2250 COVID-19 patients have been discharged after recovery. The total COVID-19 tally reached 128244 in the state. Out of them 99073 have been discharged and 28798 are active cases.

Manipur: 84 more persons test Covid19 positive in Manipur. There were 194 recoveries with 75 per cent recovery rate. There are 1710 active cases in the state. Manipur government is running a 24x7 Covid Control Room helpline number - 18003453818.
