MAXIVISION INAUGURATES ITS 45th SUPER SPECIALTY EYE CARE HOSPITAL IN SALEM, TAMILNADU

Hyderabad 14th March 2024: Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, a prominent and rapidly expanding chain of private eye care hospitals in India, with 45+ hospitals across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Kerala is making significant strides in its commitment to eye care services in Tamil Nadu. Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tamil Nadu in September under 'Project Velicham', the organization marked a significant milestone by inaugurating its centres in Perambalur, Tanjore, Trichy and now in Salem, as a network in Trichy Cluster.  As an integral part of the MoU and the overarching 'Project Velicham'. Maxivision dedicates its 4thsuper specialty eye hospital   providing top-notch eye care to the people of Tamil Nadu.

 

Thiru K.N. Nehru, the Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban and Water Supply, Government of Tamil Nadu, officially opened the hospital in the presence of notable figures, including Thiru A. Ramachandran, Mayor Salem City Corporation; Thiru R. Arul, MLA- Salem West; Dr. GSK Velu, the Promoter & Chairman of Maxivision; Mr. A. Ganesan, Director of Maxivision; Mr. VS Sudheer, Group CEO of Maxivision; and Dr. Shibu Varkey, the Regional Medical Director of Maxivision. This significant event was made possible through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government, reaffirming the organization's dedication to advancing eye care services in the region.

 

The newly established super specialty eye hospital in Salem spans across 11000 square feet space hosted with all the latest vision diagnostic equipment’s, and Super Specialty eye care surgical technologies, including advanced robotic technologies to treat cataract and refractive errors. The infrastructure spans to 4 state-of-the-art infection control operation theaters with modular HEPA filters, over 15 consultation rooms, diagnostic stations, and a spacious optical store. The hospital is equipped with a team of super specialty doctors specializing in ophthalmology, with average experience of 25+ Years in eye care, providing a comprehensive range of eye care services.

 

The services include Advanced Laser cataract surgery, treatment for diabetic retinal eye diseases, LASIK and CLEAR lenticular procedures (like SMILE), interventions for Diabetic Retina, Advanced Surgical Retina, Cornea, Oculoplasty, Paediatric Eye Care, Glaucoma, and Oculoplasty. The centre also has an exclusive Dry Eye Clinic and specialized neonatal pediatric Retina Care. Additionally, the center boasts a 12-hour pharmacy and an optical store offering prescription glasses and frames from renowned international brands. As an added convenience, Neuberg Diagnostics operates a state-of-the-art lab collection center within the facility.
