Gurugram, 8th February 2025: To honour the unwavering strength and resilience of cancer warriors, Medanta, among the leading cancer care centres in India, organized ‘Catwalk for Cancer’ – a unique talent show dedicated to patients and caregivers. This inspiring gathering created a platform for patients to share their unique art-fuelled recovery journeys and stir hope among others.

The event featured an array of activities, including a talent show where cancer warriors confidently put their best foot forward, displaying their artwork, and singing. These creative outlets allowed participants to reclaim their confidence and advocate for themselves, demonstrating that life doesn’t stop with cancer.

A key highlight of the event was the community-building session called ‘Stories of Hope’, where patients shared tales of strife and triumph inspiring everyone present to approach life with renewed optimism. It created space for participants to stand ‘United by Unique’ and reiterate that life doesn’t stop with cancer. The event culminated in a powerful ramp walk, where cancer warriors walked hand-in-hand, symbolizing unity, strength, and an unbreakable spirit of hope. 'Catwalk for Cancer' stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, reinforcing the belief that cancer does not define a person, it is merely a chapter in their story.

Through ‘Catwalk for Cancer’, Medanta aims to drive awareness and create a strong, supportive community for cancer patients and their families. The healthcare provider remains committed to standing beside patients in their journey to overcome this challenging disease, offering world-class treatment and unwavering support.

The event was attended by Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, senior doctors from Medanta Cancer Institute, including Dr Ashok Vaid, Dr Tejinder Kataria and Dr Sabhyata Gupta, and office bearers from the Indian Cancer Society (ICS).
