MedTech startup, MediSimVR has raised Rs 3.5 crores in its preSeries A round led by Inflection Point Ventures. Other investors of the round were Chennai Angels and Jana Balasubramaniam.
Founded by Sabarish Chandrasekaran, Dr Adith Chinnaswami and Jeno Manickam, they plan to harness the power of Virtual Reality to redefine medical education and training for all healthcare trainees.
MediSimVR is a medical training platform that offers Procedural Simulation, Virtual Patient Simulation, and Clinical education. They give comprehensive training that is both affordable and accessible. It covers key skills required in an MBBS curriculum. Their platform also evaluates the learning performance of the user.
They are a resident company of Johnson & Johnson Innovation labs. They have in 4 months gained around 500 students. The funds will be used to scale up their training content by adding new offerings to their existing library.
