Bengaluru, December 8, 2025: Medline Academics, a globally leading centre for fertility training and reproductive medicine education, successfully hosted its Convocation Ceremony 2025, marking a distinguished celebration of academic achievement, visionary leadership, and four decades of pioneering legacy in reproductive sciences.

 

This year’s ceremony witnessed the participation of over 100 students from across the globe, reaffirming Medline’s reputation as an international destination for advanced fertility education.

 

Honouring a Legacy of Excellence

 

The event paid tribute to the extraordinary impact of Padmashri Prof. Dr. Kamini A. Rao, whose unparalleled contributions transformed the practice of reproductive medicine in India. With more than 40 years of clinical leadership, she has enabled the birth of over 1,20,000 children and supported over 2,00,000 couples in achieving parenthood.

The ceremony included a special felicitation and citation recognising her pioneering work in IVF, women’s health, and medical education.

 

Distinguished Presence of the Chief Guest

 

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Balakrishna Shetty P, a respected leader in radiology and medical education. His insightful address highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning and the future of advanced medical training in India.

The convocation also celebrated the vision of Dr. Pooja Siddhartha Rao — daughter-in-law of Padmashri Prof. Dr. Kamini A. Rao and Executive Director of Medline Academics & Dr. KAR Hospitals — who conceptualised Medline Academics as her brainchild.

Launch of the Radiology Programme

 

A key highlight of the ceremony was the launch of the Medline–Isha Diagnostic Radiology Programme, developed in collaboration with Isha Diagnostic Centre.
The programme was formally unveiled by leading experts, followed by an insightful address from Dr. Balakrishna Shetty P, emphasising the initiative’s potential to redefine radiology training in India.
