Mumbai, India, 4th August 2026: Ameera Shah-led Metropolis Healthcare Limited (NSE: METROPOLIS | BSE: 542650), India’s second-largest and the most respected pathology laboratory chain, today announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30th, 2026.

 

Q1FY27 – Financial & Operational Highlights:

 

  • Patient volume grew 10% YoY, while test volume increased 11% YoY, reflecting sustained demand, deeper market penetration and the continued shift towards trusted diagnostic chains
  • B2C revenue grew 18% YoY, driven by strong brand pull, targeted micro-marketing and expanding digital engagement. B2B revenue increased 15% YoY, supported by improving business quality and a broader clinician and institutional network
  • TruHealth revenue grew 22% YoY to INR 81 crore (18% of segment mix), while Specialty revenue increased 17% YoY to INR 178 crore (40% of segment mix), strengthening the portfolio mix. Premium TruHealth packages grew over 50%, while radiology-integrated wellness packages increased by more than 40%
  • Revenue per Patient (RPP) increased 6% YoY, while Revenue per Test (RPT) improved 5% YoY, supported by a richer test mix and higher contribution from specialised diagnostics
  • Tier III cities remained the fastest-growing markets, with revenue increasing around 25% YoY, compared with 11% growth in Tier I and 14% in Tier II, highlighting the significant growth opportunity beyond large metros
