Chennai, February 9, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to preventive wellness and community fitness, MGM Healthcare successfully powered the latest edition of the MGM Healthcare Trackathon, hosted by Chennai Runners at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The stadium came alive with energy, grit, and resilience as over 370 recreational runners and 240+ endurance athletes took on one of Chennai’s most demanding track-based running events.

The event’s highlight remained the grueling 6-hour and 12-hour stadium runs, where runners repeatedly tackled the 400-metre loop under Chennai’s challenging heat, testing stamina, strategy, hydration discipline, and mental toughness.

With 16 running chapters participating, the event saw spirited rivalry on the track, culminating in a high-intensity showcase of speed, endurance, pacing, and determination. At the close of the event, CR Tower Twisters (Anna Nagar) emerged victorious, receiving the prestigious rolling trophy.

Dr. Swamikannu M, Director & Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine at MGM Healthcare, presented the Trophy in the presence of Dr. Lakshmi Sundar, Race Director and, Mr. Yasir Sultan, President of Chennai Runners.

From explosive sprint heats to rhythmic endurance laps, the MGM Healthcare Trackathon 2026 stood as a compelling reminder that wellness is not a one-day goal, but a lifelong journey.
