▴ In Nagaland COVID-19 tally rises to 11,728 with 19 fresh cases
Out of 72 deaths registered, 62 died due to COVID, 7 deaths are non COVID related while 3 deaths are under investigation

In Nagaland, the total number of COVID-19 affected people has reached 11,728 with detection of 19 fresh positive cases yesterday.

Health and Family Welfare Minister S. Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said, eight cases were reported from Mokokchung, six from Dimapur and five from Kohima.

It was reported that 56 patients have recovered from the infection which included 29 from Kohima and 27 from Dimapur, while one COVID death has been reported from Dimapur.

Out of 72 deaths registered, 62 died due to COVID, 7 deaths are non COVID related while 3 deaths are under investigation.
So far, 127 affected people have migrated to other states. The total number of recovered cases has reached 10,939 while active cases stand at 590.

Meanwhile, in Meghalaya, with two more COVID-19 related deaths from East Khasi Hills and North Garo Hills district, the number of Corona fatalities has gone up to 130.

Directorate of Health Service informed that 75 new COVID 19 cases were also reported today bringing the number of active cases to 753 in Meghalaya. The State also reported 50 recoveries taking the total number of recovered cases to 12,058. The total number of confirmed cases has reached 12,941 so far in the state. The Covid fatality rate in Meghalaya has gone up to one percent and there are 28 containment zones across the State.
