Nanhaagyan Foundation Celebrates the Third Annual Umeed Awards at Ishaynaya Symbiosis Auditorium

The Umeed Awards 2024 was a heartwarming celebration of talent, dedication, and the spirit of inclusion, reinforcing the Nanhaagyan Foundation’s mission to uplift and empower individuals across all walks of life.
Viman Nagar, Pune – August 10, 2024: The Nanhaagyan Foundation successfully hosted the third annual Umeed Awards at the Ishaynaya Symbiosis Auditorium, Viman Nagar, in a grand event that honored excellence across various fields. The event was graced by the legendary Mr. Murlikant Petkar, Padma Shri awardee, and India’s first Paralympic gold medalist.
The Umeed Awards, now in its third year, recognized 50 outstanding individuals for their contributions to arts, sports, education, science, and technology. This prestigious event not only celebrated achievements but also served as a platform for the youth to showcase their talents. Students from various institutes such as Snehalaya, Buddy Center, The Blessed One, Sunderji's Institute of Special School, and Naigaon SEC, among others, participated with great enthusiasm. The young talents performed dances, sang songs, played musical instruments, and delivered inspiring speeches, highlighting their diverse abilities.
The event also marked the launch of the book Awakening Parenthood Vol-1 by Romal Surana, founder of the Nanhaagyan Foundation. The book was launched in the presence of Mr. Murlikant Petkar and representatives from Ridhz World Publishing. This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to fostering positive change and support within the community.
Nanhaagyan Foundation expressed its deep gratitude to its Associate Partner, Aulixo Clinic, for their unwavering support in promoting an inclusive society. The foundation also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of Virendra Nirmalkar, who hosted the event, as well as Riddhaan Jain, Padma Shri Balal, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, and Karen Karbhari for their significant support.
